Internship Finance Department
(full time/part-time, m/f)

We are currently looking for an intern to assist our financial department. Due to our contentiously expanding portfolio, we need someone who can allocate our monetary streams and assist us in our financial decision making. You will be working in a small, efficient and highly motivated team that aims to grow its property portfolio in the greater Rotterdam area.

About us

Just Stay is an expat rental agency and property management company active in the Rotterdam area. Founded in 2014, our mission is to manage properties for home owners in the Rotterdam area, by renting them out to high end expats. At the same time, our aim is to create the ultimate living experience for our clients. We provide our expats with beautiful, clean and fully serviced apartments for a decent price. Just Stay manages expat rentals in the finest neighborhoods of Rotterdam. We manage apartments in the city center, Kralingen and Blijdorp.

Tasks

• assisting with our financial administration the broadest sense
• bookkeeping using our bookkeeping software in combination with our property management system
• making yield calculations for our current and future real estate projects
• make revenue rapports for real estate investors

Requirements

• available immediately
• duration of the internship is at least 3 months
• currently enrolled in a finance bachelors or master’s program in Rotterdam
• experience with bookkeeping software of working in a financial department is preferred
• an eye for detail
• punctual
• fluent in English
• basic understanding of Dutch is preferred
• male/female

Working conditions

• Full-time or part-time. This is open for discussion
• Compensation for this internship will be between €200 – €400 per month
• You will be working in the most awesome tech co-working space in Rotterdam on the “Witte de Withstraat”, called “42 Workspace”.

Internship Property Management
(full time/part-time, m/f)

Due to our company’s expansion, we are currently looking for an intern to assist us with our operational activities. As an intern for Just Stay, you will be executing the most diverse property management tasks, in the thriving and quickly developing housing market of Rotterdam.

Founded in 2014, our mission is to manage properties for homeowners in the Rotterdam area, by renting them out to high end expats. At the same time, our aim is to create the ultimate living experience for our clients. We provide our expats with beautiful, clean and fully serviced apartments for a decent price. Just Stay manages expat rentals in de finest neighborhoods of Rotterdam. We manage apartments in the city center, Kralingen and Blijdorp.

Tasks

• finding, selecting, screening of new tenants for our Just Stay properties
• finalizing paperwork and assisting tenants with their relocation
• checking in new tenants in their rented properties.
• assist current tenants of Just Stay properties
• assisting with expanding our real estate portfolio in Rotterdam
• assisting with our financial administration
• assisting with our online marketing and public relations

Requirements

• available immediately 
• duration of the internship is at least 3 months
• currently enrolled in a bachelors or master’s program in Rotterdam
• an education in property management or real estate is preferred
• highly interested in learning about the Rotterdam housing market, or housing markets in general
• no-nonsense and assertive attitude
• a thick skin is a valuable asset in this line of work
• a passion for sales and negotiating
• social media and internet savvy
• fluent in English
• basic understanding of Dutch is preferred
• male/female
